found on 2013-07-25 in a forest near Marburg. Is it a male of Agathomyia antennata? Regards, Ingo

The yellow halterae indicate that this is either Callomyia amoena or C. elegans.

Thank you Menno. At the same time I found also a few Platypezidae females (looking like Callomyia amoena for me) running on these leaves. So I think the male should belong to this species too. Regards, Ingo

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
