Hello,

I'm not sure, if this is the usual C. vicina. Unfortunately no other angle available. Sunbathing on a tree trunk at forest border (northwest Germany).

The abundance of red hairs suggests Calliphora vomitoria.

Tony is correct: Calliphora vomitoria female

the basicosta is never wholly black on C. vicina. If the basicosta is dark brown, then the posterior edge is yellowish-brown on C. vicina.

In addition to the basicosta, the frontal vitta is too broad for C. vicina. If the frontal vitta is a little more than two times as wide as one fronto-orbital plate, then you look to C. vomitoria.

Thanks a lot, Tony and John! Between 1.000 of C. vicina I normally find 1 C. vomitoria. In this case I was not as sure as in some others:
