Dear forum, these pictures took Horst K?cher in Germany (North Rhine-Westphalia/Hennef) at a march area on 26.04.2008. This syrphidae is determinated by Dr. Gisela Merkel-Wallner (http://insektenfo...ghtuser=28) by probably Brachypalpus laphriformis. Can it be definitely identified?
