Being from Poland, no doubt this is A. rusticus. The spots shift with the angle of view (other than in other Tabanidae, you don't see here the lens but the retina, as in most other insects) Theo |

Thanks for the ID! Ok good to know that, but for example in Eristalinus spp. they don't change with the angle of view, that's why i thought that it could be other species. Best regards J |
