Hello

Here are the photos of a couple of Syrphidae on which I spent a little time ...

What I note:
- wings with a large yellow pterostigma
- cream spoons and pendulums
- dark antennas
- yellow and black legs, I seem to note a difference between those of: 0016: (3 yellow shins with a dark median ring) and those of: 0017: (yellow shins I and II, dark III)
- eyes with light pubescence

I wonder about the relevance of the genus Cheilosia and more particularly of the species C. bergenstammi ... nevertheless the color of the antennae asks me questions, I see them rather yellow at the apex, even reddish for the male in some photos from the net ...
What is your opinion ?

Hello Allan,

I've no idea what "- cream spoons and pendulums" are...

But I have an idea what your Cheilosia is, a Cheilosia c.f. urbana male. Seeing the profile of the head and general appearance...

Kind regards,

Ectemnius

Thank you very much and sorry for the translation errors ...
spoons = calipter
pendulums = haltere

The first 2 photos concern the female and the last one the male

Best regards

Allan
