Wow! Thanks a lot, it seems to be Minettia subvittata, the only species living in Dodecanese islands according to Fauna Europaea.

Hello Paul. There is no record of M. tabidiventris from Rhodes, Greece according to the Fauna Europaea site. Do you think it s more likely to be M. tabidiventris ?

M. tabidiventris has no paler stripes on the mesonotum. This character is rather deceptive because the dusting may be palish while the underground is dark. Specimens in alcohol are a doddle, dry (and live) ones can be tricky. Genitalia are decisive, though.
M. tabidiventris was recorded, a.o., from Greece (inc. Corfu), Macedonia, Turkey, Israel, Malta, Italy, etc.,
