I'm not really qualified to comment on the ID, but I have to say that those are great photos!

Yes, no doubts, Aciura coryli, and this host plant possibly has not been recorded yet.

Thank you for the confirmation, Valery.

Our Location Wattwil is on the north side of the Alps.

In the Book "Tephritidae" (Insecta Helvetica, Volume 10, 1994) writes Bernhard Merz analogy: " Distribution: the whole mediterranean region”.

Best regards
Urs

I mean that it has never been reported to infest Leonurus yet. Furthermore, it has not been recorded from Switzerland yet. May I please ask you to ask you for a permission to publish this record with your photo(s) to have proofs for updating Fauna Europaea database?

I understand, by the way, the exact name of the plant is Leonurus cardiaca.
If I can help, no problem, you can use my images for the database and for scientific purposes. Thank you.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
