14 june 2009, Netherlands, Voorsterbos. On dead Salix alba in deciduous forrest. Looks like the fly which was identified as 'Clusiodes gentilis or C. caledonicus' by Stephane Lebrun. What is the dufference between those? Klaas Klaas attached the following image: [121.7Kb] |

To distinguish between C. gentilis and C. caledonicus you must study the male genitalia.
