FYI I took these photo's from both species in the final stage to show the relative lenght/width ratio of the terminal segment. In S. singularior the last segment is distinctly thinner than in longicornis. Also you can see that in both species the base of the dorsal hairs show whitish spots, which is underdeveloped/absent in S. potamida/chamaeleon (and Odontomyia/Oplodontha) atylotus attached the following image: [47.61Kb] Edited by atylotus on 09-09-2010 15:24 |
