on 2015-06-26 I found these flies on faeces near Darmstadt, Hesse. Is it a Ulidiidae? Regards, Ingo

Yes, the golden tergites 4-5 clearly show these are E. notata, now the 5th invider of that genus to Europe. Have you collected any? I am in Naturkunde Museum Berlin, c/o Joachim Ziegler right now and for the next 2.5 months and will be glad to see the specimens and keep them in berliner collection!!! Thank you both. Sorry Valery, I have not collected any animal there. This area is a nature reserve and it would be a little bit difficult and time consuming to get an official permit. But I am planing to visit the location again (in the next days) and than I will have a special look to dog faeces outside of the prohibited zone...
