Hi

* locality - Silgueiros - Viseu - PORTUGAL
* date - 2007.05.19
* size - 6 mm (medium fly)
* habitat - farmland and near river..
* substrate - tall grass

i can take more photos. I have the specimen. Which are the definitive characters for Empis stercorea? note... if the species is confirmed.. it is new for iberian peninsula (if nobody appointed it since 2002).

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
