I need help to ID this Ulidiidae, I think it could be Euxesta notata, in the Italian checklist is the only Euxesta sp.

It is consistent with Euxesta notata, and it is not E. pechumani. Compare the size of the basal wing spot and the color of the tip of the female abdomen to distinguish the species.

I do confirm. It is interesting that E. pechumani Curran, 1938 was originally recorded from Italy as E. notata (misidentification)

Thanks John and Valery, Fauna Italia still report it like Euxesta pechumani Curran, 1938!

Best regards,
Marcello

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
