I caught this Oestridae, yesterday (4-5-2013) on Sardinia, not at a very high altitude (< 200M). Is it a Cephenemyia, and if so, is the species to retrieve based on thes photo's? Thanks in advance Auratus attached the following image: [189.03Kb] Edited by Auratus on 06-05-2013 18:41 Greetings, Jan |

Nope, even better; Hypoderma bovis. Excellent find ! If you don't collect, the specimen is heartly welcomed to stay in my collection Theo |

Maybe the good (?) (not god) and the rich friend Ruud can go to that place and collect several Hypoderma for our joy.
