hello, I was wondering if you could help me identify this species (or at least family) from the attached wing photo. sorry for the bad specimen but it was caught in a trap and the adult was destroyed. it was collected from Cyprus in a Bactrocera trap. thanks margarita attached the following image:  [158.17Kb] Edited by margarita on 25-09-2012 07:40 |

Euleia heraclei (Tephritidae), I think. But I don´t know if there are other similar species in Cyprus. /Magnus |
