I saw just a few of these in the huge field of Allium ursinum nearby the water stream, about 300m above the sea level. Is it some of Simuliidae sp? |

It looks to me like a female of bibio marci, which fly just now... It belongs to the family Bibionidae. You can see often a lot of them now... here they are flying in huge numbers! |

Thank you Gerrit, it realy is Bibio marci. I photographed this one last year, at the beginning of May, but I haven't seen many of them. Perhaps I'm just looking for them at the wrong place. |

It could be fungus... There is another one, attached to a plant, not moving at all. It looks already dead. |

So it seems to be Entomophthora muscae! A fungi which kills flys... |
