After a few pictures to identify, now, courtesy of Francisco Rodriguez, I upload some pictures of Ptiloedaspis tavaresiana. The photos were taken in Almeria, Spain, between March and May, 2010 and 2011. There are more images in Biodiversidad Virtual: http://www.biodiversidadvirtual.org/insectarium/Ptiloedaspis-tavaresiana-Bezzi-1920-15-cat20832.html Jordi Clavell attached the following image: [45.12Kb] Edited by Jordi Clavell on 05-09-2011 16:12 |

At the left column, Diptera Gallery => Submit photo to the gallery. Do not forget to copy link before. And please submit also some other (Tephritis pulchra, Tephritis praecox) positively identified species. Edited by Nosferatumyia on 05-09-2011 17:15 Val |

going to seek out some Artemisia galls in sand dunes and rearing it, can give this as result. Almería is a very good place for insects, in general. |
