Hi, When I was on Rugia Island in March, I saw a lot of reddish Cecidomyiids in the woods. As beech is very frequent there, I assume that the midges could be associated with that tree. Thus it might be Hartigiola annulipes or Mikiola fagi. Is there anyone who can tell apart the imagines of these taxa? Many thanks, Sundew This ist the male: Sundew attached the following image: [119.3Kb] Edited by Sundew on 23-05-2011 20:05 |
