dear friends * locality - Plan (Pirineos) - Huesca - SPAIN * date - 2008.08.27 * size - about 8 mm (medium fly) * habitat - near a river * substrate - not so far from Cordylus avellana (very common in Plan) I spotted this beauty flying and recognized it immediately. I told to Isidro quickly: I spotted right now the H. aurea!!! The local was the best so far I ever seen for tachinids! We spotted an awesome Cistogaster (photos will come out today. and other nice tachinids. Even with bad weather - very overcasted and about 20?C... it rained after one hour in the field. jorgemotalmeida attached the following image: [183.07Kb] Edited by jorgemotalmeida on 31-08-2008 18:56 |
