I spotted this mosquito on the wall of the house on 30.10.2023 in Germany Baden Württemberg. Can the mosquito be identified?

Hi Bernd, I think it's one of the Mycetophilidae, a female? Greenomyia mongolica.

Hi Eric, thanks for identifying the mosquito. You can find almost nothing about this mosquito on the Internet. Is it rarely spotted?

did you probably mistype the name? In Google many hits occur (and I found that species myself these days and earlier).
