 Could someone please help me to identify this Asilidae?
The photo was made near Barcelona, Catalonia, on 26.07.2020.

 Hi Jordi,

Definitely a female, subfamily Asilinae. I am by no means familiar with all the Spanish Asilidae so it is a long shot but maybe Kurzenkoiellus dasypygus? You can find the checklist for the Iberian peninsula https://www.resea...icion_2019.

Maybe someone else can give a more educated guess.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
