I am extremely angry with myself for no being able to get more shots and in better focus. But couldn't this be Cylindromyia pilipes?? Comparing to other Cylindromyia I have photographed this one has ridiculously hairy hind tibia and femora. No idea if this is enough to recognize it. Pity other features cannot be seen at all But it is worth to give it a try Found in Robledo de Chavela, mountains of Madrid on 27.07.2013. Thanks in advance for any help!! Thanks soooooooooooo much, Theo!! You have done my day Coming from you, those words have brought tears to my eyes The trouble of being a too sensitive beginner in Dipterology I have seen that it is a new species for the gallery. I know what I have to do |
