[Napomyza elegans f] Agromyzidae on Valeriana

As to the black antennae, I suppose Phytomyza. Milos will surely help. I am going to post a comparable fly, too. Regards, Sundew |

This is Phytomyza elegans (Meigen, 1830) - female. This species has not yet been bred, but it is frequently caught on the flowers of Valeriana spp. It still seems probable that the larvae feed on this plant, possibly forming root-galls. Miloš |
