Hydrophorus female collected yesterday outside Lund, Sweden. I am struggling with the key. Are the veins yellow enough in the basal part, if so maybe it is pectinatus?

Joaquim: Yes, stacking and patience, that is the trick ![]() Stefan: Ah, so there is a ventral tooth on the fore tibia! I imagined that it should be more prominent. Grichanovs key shows a lot of variation in the male genitalia of praecox, is it maybe considered as a species complex? Anyway, thank you very much for your help!
