Anthomyiidae_Delia platura(male) is the correct name? Region Malá Fatra Terchová about 600 m altitude. Thank you very much for your help. I made a photo of 09.06. 2012.

I believe this is Calythea nigricans. Very distinctive abdominal markings, no long dorsal seta at middle of fore-tibia. Gallery please! EDIT: I was only considering the two species in the British key. The two others in Fauna Europaea are not listed for Slovakia either, but better wait for confirmation from someone who knows the genus. Edited by Stephen R on 10-06-2012 09:24 |
