Found while loitering around the grit bins at Scatsta Airport...a full time occupation ATM. I have 2 of these on my C.List for Shetland...C.fontinalis and C.stagnalis. Is it possible to get an ID for this fly. Roger Thomason attached the following image: [113.86Kb] |

A "BETTER" Shot...WTF is wrong with this one... Cheeky Git. Well I did try to catch it, not easy armed with a KLIX plastic cup . Where can I get a SMALL net to catch these bloody things, plus vials for sending through the post and some 70-100% alcohol to preserve them, (preferably drinkable stuff to lessen the embarrassment). Regards Roger...would be AA Member. |
