Hello,

this ~9mm is from july from the northern austrian alps from near a small lake. In my collection there is a rather similar photo of Cordilura cf. ciliata. Could this be? Or what else is it?

Thanks,
Michael

Noone?

Is at least Cordilura or Scatophagidae correct?

Cordilura is correct, and indeed, it has good chances to be C. ciliata (size ,lack of acrostichals, and I guess the long bristle beside the arista).
Stephane.
