This one was found dead at Scatsta Airport last year. S.calida maybe??

I'm pretty sure this is Scathophaga calida. First, the male, with characteristic long pilosity on hind leg, and no strong bristles. I think the second is the female, acrostichal rows closer together than dc rows, and I can't see any distinct preapical pd on hind femur. It is very intersting to see this species, if we are not mistaken of course.

I'll see what I can do...
