My impression would be Bithia sp. Quite difficult genus if I remember right.

Excellent call, apparently something in the Bithia modesta complex, you can see the erect apical scutellar bristles if you look closely.

I would have never guessed, unless Guenille mentioned France. I collected quite a number of B. spreta from Provence and remembered them appearing like this. Also it's quite nicely resembling Leskia-Solieria-Demoticus flies.

No Bithia on the Finnish checklist...
