Hello to all!

??? what's this???

About 2cm long. This one here was only sitting on the leaf, very cooperative for taking pictures, in the Botanical Garden of Quito (ab. 2850m asl). At our first visit there I saw one or two of them (I'm rather sure it was the same species) hovering in the middle of the air (means: not at some flowers or females or so).
Looking at this strange wing venation, of course it can't be a hoverfly. And, lacking a large proboscis, I do neither think it's a Bombylid. But what is it?

(Edit: Family's name in title)

Not all Bombyliids have a large proboscis, I think it is one myself.

Thank you both, especially Eric of course, for the undoubtedly correct family.

Your welcome Rupert. I have since received information from "Nemestrinidae <nemestrinidae@gmail.com>" that the genus is Hyrmophlaeba sp.
