Hi This fly amazed me. It has a phorid-like behaviour! Extremely quick and nervous in the movements. It seems that it appears *always* near the dusk! It has a strikingly whitish colour in the abdomen. It has strong vibrissae and ablack suture across interfrontalia. Decidedly one of the most interesting flies I've ever seen! I found 6 of these flies. And a bunch of Myopa picta near. Over 10! And I found the first Cyrtus gibbus of the year. All these flies in the same spot.  |

It looks like Milichia speciosa canariensis, have a look at this page from Irina Brake's website (type Milichia in "search" field).
