Hello!

The small (2-2.5 mm) flies are hovering in numbers at our house walls at the moment (northwest Germany), mostly at shadowy places. They seem to examine every dark spot on them (insect or bird exkrements?). They remind me a little bit of Empididae. Maybe Hilara sp.?
