Seen on the glass on the shaded side of the greenhouse. Got more hairs and bristles on the legs than you can shake a stick at, so probably some Anthomyiidae or other....anything further be said about it?

It's a male anthomyiid, but can't see clearly any setal characters which would suggest a genus. It looks like the common Pegoplata infirma, which should have 2+2 hind tibial dorsal setae, but these are not clear.

Looks like obesity is spreading to Antho's of the Male variety Wink. Been too long in the comfort zone Frown I've got this shot which shows the hind tibia, but not sure if it helps.

The abdomen is swollen becauase it has been sucking up putrid juices. It's not Pegoplata by the way. Also looks like Lasiomma strigilatum in general appearance, but no details needed are visible or in focus.

Sucked a few of those in my time....thankfully got rid of the swelling. Harder to get rid of for me than this fly though.
