Miltogramma OK, but not punctatum.

Thorax has conspicuous vittae.
Important feature.

This is Miltogramma taeniata.

Identification toke some time because it resembles Miltogramma iberica very much.

The choice between taeniata or taeniatum (like punctata or punctatum) depends on the gender of Miltogramma.
Pape (1996) assumes Miltogramma to be feminine as the author of the genus did. I agree.
Feel free to chose masculine, but then you should call the subfamily Miltogrammatinae in stead off Miltogramminae as does Verves (in litt.).

To be coherent as I used always the Miltogramminae, I will keep the gender. In this way, it will be, Sarcophagidae - Miltogramminae - Miltogramma taeniata. Smile Thank you, Liekele!

Therefore I will put as Miltogramma cf. punctata in the other thread. >> http://www.dipter...ad_id=8055

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
