P.meridionalis doesn't seem to be on the British list - is this a question of nomenclature, or is there something else going on here? Tim |

Well pointed. Its' either P. lardarius or P. meridionalis. I came to the conclusion that it is the later because the face seems yellowish, as the anterior spiracle, and not greyish like they have to be for P. lardarius. My new conclusion would be now that the picture could have fooled me. Stephane. |

Curiouser and curiouser. Well I guess it must be P.lardarius as you say and maybe the id. criteria is perhaps not so reliable in Britain at least? I am certain that the yellowish colour is accurate, the light was good - diffuse and not too bright with nothing nearby projecting a yellow tone. Thanks again Tim |
