It's Rhinophoridae (small calypters, cell r4+5 with a petiole). I'd say Phyto sp.

Many thanks, St?phane - so no Tachinid (when shall I learn?!). I'm absolutely not familiar with Rhinophorids but will look at the petioles in future. Sundew |

Well, the stress is on 'small calyptrae', not on 'petiole'. There are definitely Tachindae with a petiole. Stephane is right on Phyto, looks like a male melanocephala. Theo |
