Hello, This beautiful Tabanid with green eyes could have been Tabanus bromius, but the Haupt manual says this species has a red line in the middle of the eyes. pierred attached the following image: [163.38Kb] Pierre Duhem |

Well, T. bromius is very different, have a look in the gallery. This one is Philipomyia aprica, easily recognized by the green eyes, as mentioned. Theo |
