On sycamore, in moist old broadleaf forest. Staksrode NE of Vejle, Denmark, 7 May 2020.

I may be absolutely wrong, but my impression is that this is a Metopia female (Sarcophagidae, Miltogramminae).

Thank you, Henrik, I had not considered that! So far, I am under the impression that Metopia spp. have distinctly wider space between the eyes than the eye width. In this animal, the distance seem more "normal" to me. However, I'll look into it...

Males of campestris and grandii lack the “charateristic” silver mirrors on the frons...
it is probably one of those (campestris being by far the most common)
