Hi, following Mike Hackstons key from 2019 (adapted from d'Assis Fonseca, 1968) one significant difference between these 2 species are the presutural achrosticals:
H. impuncta has "a pair of conspicuously strong presutural acrostichal bristles" while depuncta has "at most one or more pairs of stronger hairs".
I see no strong presutural achrostical bristles, so it should be H. depuncta (if we only have to choose between depuncta and impuncta).

Hi Angelika/Reimund, Nikita is right (and I had overseen it): the single posterior bristle on the hind tibia identifies genus Phaonia. So you should better call it Phaonia sp. (and these are hard to identify, too).

Hi Eric,

that is no problem,

sometimes it is hard to ID fly's from fotos,

we are happy to get help from you.
