This tachinid was photographed on 18 August at about 2,000 m. on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountians, Spain. I would like to make a suggestion to show that i have looked for an ID but really I've no idea. It looks a bit like
Phryxe but the eyes are not hairy (does that apply to the whole genus?).
