Thread subject: Diptera.info :: unidentified fly - probably Paraclusia tigrina (Clusiidae)

I found this fly in early September on a rotten log of a hybrid poplar, in the Parc de Woluwé in Brussels.
I cannot even put a family name on it, although ObsIdentify suggests it is a Helemyzidae... Any views on that?

Dear Frank, it is P. tigrina. Note please that among European Druid-flies it the only species with such wing clouding :-):D.

Also note Paraclusia was synonymized with Clusia a while ago, so it is Clusia tigrina.
