Myopites remains confused and vague. Of the 3 species with wide dark crossbands occorring in France, it reminds
M. inulaedyssentericae Blot more than the other two.
M. apicatus Freidberg has narrower crossbands and apical veins subparallel;
M. exomia Seguy is restricted to the Atalntic coast
