Interesting - I never saw a Gymnosoma holding the wings in that way (plane turned nearly upright), which is typical for Cistogaster... Maik's female here (https://www.dipte...d_id=95014) has a different posture. But I admit that the triangles are very regular, and the C. globosa male should have golden pruinosity on the fore half of the thorax. So this Gymnosoma nitens is intermediate indeed! (What would we do without Theo...)
