Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Dolichopodidae? (3)

Hello all,
This diptera was collected in the Sierra Nevada near Mammoth Lakes, CA. The diptera is roughly 3-5 mm long

Help identifying to the Family level would be greatly appreciated.

1. Yes, Diptera. Change tread name to Dolichopodidae to attract group experts.
2. My guess - Hydrophorus

Knowing family is fine, as I am not using terrestrial Diptera for this project, just aquatic
