Hello,

I observed this little Bibio the 2nd of May in the north of France, about 6 mm. I find it too small to Bibio anglicus, but I don't any idea fort this species ?

Males can only be identified by genitalia, but now D. febrilis is extremely abundant and femoratus will not be seen - in normal years - before may 20th. Females febrilis are unique in having strongly darkened wing.
