Well spotted. Male Bibio reticulatus. This species occurs in lush forests and forest-edges, agreeing with your Beech forest.
Strong venation in wing is distinctive, shared only with venosus.

Weel, it is also not mentioned for NL, where it has been known for over a century. So I won’t get too excited: this family is not the best covered in fauna-eu, apparently.
