Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Sciapus ?

SW France today. In a rhodo bush under a birch. Length about 5 mm. Slow flight from one leaf to another. Often bending head down.

Can we ID the species ?

I could not find anything with these whitish rings on the abdomen. Can we go down at least to a group of spp ?
