From an old gravel pit in moraine land with lots of Salix and other broadleaf species, and some moist low vegetation. Galgehøj, Skanderborg Nord, Denmark, 2nd May 2019.

Thank you - looks convincing (other spp registered in DK are dispar, grisea and nudigena).

If it is Macquartia, it must be tenebricosa. Not all Macquartia features are visible, but the hairs on the back of the head seem all black, that narrows it pretty much down !

The photo material is very limited, but here is an entirely untreated cut of the head. I can not add more info than this, regrettably.

Inconclusive. Still, it agrees with Macquartia tenebricosa.
