Hi,
This small (about 4mm) fly was photographed at Cernay-la-Ville, 40km SW of Paris in a wet zone near a river.
Any idea of its identity (genus/family)?

It is risky to assess even family without information on wing veins. I would say Lauxaniidae.

Sapromyza or
Homoneura?
