Hello everyone,

I can't find a genus for this Muscidae species. I think that Spilogona is a match but i have no experience with Spilogona genus. The eyes are slightly haired, the scutum is dark blue and dusted gray. The haltere is yellow. I tried to key it as a Spilogona and i arrive at Spilogona meadei but i think that a species level id is not possible without a specimen. Thus, i am hoping that the genus can be confirmed or that someone can offer a better suggestion.

ps i've lightened the photo quite a bit from the original. I simply adjusted the midtone of the photo. I will post a small reminder of the original photo. The species is very dark blue in fact.
