Hello kuv,

Pollenia is correct and it is not of the amentaria group despite the black appearance. One way to notice this fact is the tessellations of the abdomen which are visible in your photos. Thus, the only similar species is a Pollenia labialis male, since we can exclude the amentaria group. It is quite rough looking so i understand the difficulty trying to identify it. Just remember that a wholly black basicosta and a dark posterior spiracle leads to P. labialis when you are certain it is not of the amentaria group.
